Dear Parents,

I am humbled and honored to serve as Principal of Elmwood Academy. It is a joy to continue investing
in our community and children. It is a privilege to partner with you in the good work that is happening
in the Mechanicsburg Area School District.

As a graduate of Messiah College, I have been with the district since February 2003. I spent 15 years
teaching second, third, and fourth grades at Northside Elementary School, and have also served as the
Dean of Students at Elmwood Elementary, Acting Principal at Broad Street Elementary, and most
recently Assistant Principal at Elmwood Academy before accepting my new role as Principal of
Elmwood Academy in 2020.

Personally, I am a devoted husband and proud father of two boys. My wife and I have chosen to raise
our family as “Wildcats,” which has given me a unique insight- witnessing firsthand the passion and
devotion that district educators, staff, and families display. In my leisure time, I enjoy music, sports,
reading, woodworking, home remodeling, and visiting National Parks and baseball stadiums.

I look forward to meeting all of you in the near future and thank you in advance for your cooperation
and support as we embark on this school year together, which is full of promise and opportunity.
