Hello Wildcats, 

My name is Becky Marshall, and I am honored to serve as the next Assistant Principal at Elmwood Academy. I began my career in Mechanicsburg in 2016 after graduating from Messiah College, working as an Itinerant Emotional Support teacher for K–5 students across the district  (including 5 years at Elmwood) before transitioning into the role of Elementary Special Education Department Coordinator in 2023. These experiences have shaped my belief that every child deserves to feel both challenged and supported as they grow into the best version of themselves.

As I return to Elmwood Academy, my goal is to build upon the strong foundation already in place. I am committed to fostering a sense of belonging for students, staff, and families through intentional relationship-building, open communication, and teamwork. I am especially excited to partner with our community as we continue to support students in developing integrity, humility, and courage.

Outside of school, I enjoy puzzles, golfing, baking and cooking new recipes, and traveling with my husband. I also coach varsity softball at MASH and value the opportunity to share my passion for the sport with our community. 

Elmwood Academy has always held a special place in my heart, and I am thrilled to return to a building that aligns so closely with my personal and professional values.
