Elmwood Academy operates within a 6 day cycle in coordination with all other Mechanicsburg Area School District schools.

 

 

 

Teachers work in partnerships at Elmwood Academy.  One teacher facilitates learning in English Language Arts and the other in Mathematics, Science and Social Studies.  Students stay with their class and spend approximately half of their day with one of their teachers before switching with their partner class to spend the remainder of their day with the other teacher.

 

 

Throughout the six day cycle, fourth and fifth grade students participate in:

 

 

Interested fourth and fifth grade students may choose to participate in Instrumental Strings, Band or Chorus.  Each provide opportunities to sign-up at the beginning of the school year.
