I started teaching  in the Mechanicsburg School District in 1999.  I spent the first 19 years teaching 5th grade at Broad Street Elementary.  In 2019, I switched to teaching 4th grade!  I teach the English Language Arts curriculum at Elmwood Academy. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Elizabethtown College.  I completed my Master's degree in Special Education/Learning Disabilities at Shippensburg University.  

 

At home, in Harrisburg, I have a husband and 2 daughters. We love our 4 cats, and I also enjoy reading, gardening, cooking, and music.  I love being in nature and traveling.  My 2 favorite places to go are the beach and camping in the Adirondacks.
